Tama Leia is a novelist, poet, and filmmaker.

A French-American author dividing her life between Paris and Los Angeles, Tama Leia publishes under her own imprint, Fleur Bleue Publishing — retaining every word, every cover, every decision. Her novels include The Romantic (2024), Little Poets (2025), and Marmont & Me (2025), literary fiction in the tradition of Highsmith and Fitzgerald, where romance and obsession share the same beautiful rooms. Les Petits Poètes (2026), the French edition of Little Poets, brought her work home to the language of the city she writes from.

She is also the author of Prada the Cat (2024), the book that began her beloved series about the world of Paris through feline eyes. New books in the series arrive across 2026, 2027, and 2028 — proof that her range as a storyteller runs from midnight mystery to bedtime charm, and that in Prada’s Paris, there is always one more arrondissement.

Beyond the page, Tama writes for French cinema, developing and directing films with Étoile Sauvage. Page or screen, it is all one Paris.
